Leprechauns, gold and shamrocks, oh my! March is just around the corner!
Send some luck with this DIY greeting card made with Joy® embroidered letters.
Materials you will need:
- Joy® embroidered letters: 1", green
- greeting card and envelope: 5-1/2" x 5-1/2", kraft
- cardstock: light green: 5-2/8" square, one; patterned: 5" square, one
- cardstock hearts: dark green, 2", four; light green, 1-1/2", four
- cardstock scraps: dark green and light green for cutting stem
- embellishment: 3/4" self adhesive, flat back (I used chevron embellishment)
- adhesive
- iron
- ironing board
- pressing cloth
- heart punches or die-cut machine
Instructions:
1. Cut out squares and hearts.
2. Lay them out and adhere to the kraft card as shown.
3. Follow manufacturer's instructions to adhere the letters to the shamrock.
Adhere a stem and the embellishment of your choice.
Here is the finished card, ready for your lucky recipient!
Joy® iron-on, embroidered letter sheets can be found in different colors and fonts at your local craft stores!
