The Boss's Bag

My daughter recently got a wonderful promotion at work and I wanted to get her something to carry her files back and forth from the office. I thought that "The Boss" would be a great slogan for her new bag. I ordered a fun bag then grabbed some Joy embroidered Letters. You will need:
- Joy Embroidered Letters in white
- Bag
- Iron and pressing cloth
- Tombow brush marker to color the letters if desired
This project was super simple!
- Select the letters then color with a brush marker to contrast with the colors of the bag.
- Place your letters on the bag and press in place following the directions on the JOY blog.
- Fill with your favorite supplies!
For small projects like this I love using my ironing pad. It is small enough to tuck away when I am done and perfect for protecting my counter top.
White letters can be colored/dyed using pretty much anything. I think I have tried them all! For this project I grabbed a brush marker and colored the letters before adding the to the project. Be sure you pressing cloth is something you don't mind getting dirty because sometimes inks can transfer.
You can find Joy® iron-on embroidered letters in a variety of fonts at your local craft stores.
