Recently I have been watching a new home remodeling show based in Palm Springs, California and the inspiration is everywhere! Lots of bright colors, pink flamingos and green palm trees. So when I saw these cute bright green and hot pink towels, I just knew that I had to embellish them with JOY Embroidered Letters. Here's how I made it: Select a set of kitchen towels - I got mine on super clearance at my local craft store (score)! Then based upon the style of the towels, select a complementary set of JOY Embroidered Iron-on Letters. For this fun palm leaf print, I chose the hot pink bubble letters.
Pick out your sayings- I liked "I'LL WASH, YOU DRY" so the set of towels coordinated, but did not match. Peel the letters carefully from the sheet and lay them out on the towels. I created an apostrophe by cutting the number 2 in half from the JOY Embroidered Letters - Baby Monogram style.
Iron the letters to the towels following the package directions.
You can find Joy embroidered iron-on numbers and letters in a variety of fonts, colors and sizes at your local craft store.
