All-Occasion Handmade Greeting Cards

Monogram lettering from Joy is perfect for adding a touch of elegance to handmade greeting cards.

This gatefold design for monogrammed cards or invitations can be styled for any occasion - weddings, anniversaries, showers, or congratulations all come to mind. 

To create this card you will need:

• Joy Embroidered Iron-On Letters (mine are 1" white)
• 1 sheet 12"x12" black cardstock (makes two 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" cards)
• Patterned scrapbook paper
• Bright solid scrapbook paper
• Paper trimmer
• Scoring tool
• Adhesive (wet or dry)
• Rhinestones 

Instructions: 

The photos below gives you all the measurements for trimming your papers (folded card will be 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"). Layer and adhere each piece together as shown. 

You can leave the inside of the card black for use with white or metallic pens, or adhere a sheet of white paper to the center panel. 

I have a tip if you are curious about how you tell an "M" from a "W" - they look very similar in this font. See the curlique on the lower left side of the M where I placed a rhinestone? That is how you tell if it is upside down. The "W" has the curlique on the upper left side.
