Upcycled "Luck o' the Irish" gift

Who doesn't need a little Luck o' the Irish? St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays, so I must make and give cute gifts to my friends. This year I am determined that I WILL use all those really cute coffee bottles that we normally put into the recycle bin. I have been collecting them for a while - the shape is perfect for upcycling into a container filled with sweet treats. Just add a cute tag and a few embellishments!

For this handmade gift, I misted white letters with my favorite shade of green spray ink and let them dry. I recently discovered that using my mini flat iron - the one I normally use to iron ribbon - is the perfect tool to adhere small iron-on letters to paper. The dry heat of the flat iron works wonderfully to adhere to letters to paper without warping it.
