Gift giving for a wedding, or wedding shower is easy using a purchased tea towel and
Joy® Iron-on Embroidered letters.
It is wedding season and that means lots of hand made items. This cute couple has been together for quite a while and have the necessities, so I wanted to make them something personal to display. You will need: 1. Joy® Iron on Embroidered Letters, Hearts, and Punctuation 2. Permanent Inks 3. Decorative tea towel 4. Heat resistant tape 5. Iron and ironing pad
1. Color the letters, hearts, and punctuation with inks. Since the tea towel will probably be washed, make sure you choose permanent ink. You can also color the letters with dye, spray inks, fabric markers and paint!
2. Position the pieces on the towel. A quilting ruler is a great tool to use to line the pieces up and heat resistant tape will hold the letters in place until they are ironed on. It is sticky enough to hold the items in place but none of the adhesive will transfer to your project and the tape pulls away cleanly.
Easy Peasy and perfect every time!
You can find Joy® Iron-on Letters at your local craft store and online.
