Have a little fun with Joy® to personalize your child's t-shirts this Fall!

You will need:

Joy® iron-on dyeable embroidered letters

White t-shirt

Fabric paint & brushes

Black permanent marker

Parchment paper

Iron

1. Insert the parchment paper inside the shirt to prevent paint from seeping through to the back. Starting with the base color, paint the pumpkin adding details as you work. When finished, set aside to dry.

2. Color the letters with the marker while still on the backing sheet. To achieve the best saturation, simply follow the direction of the thread.

3. Remove the letters from the backing sheet. Position on the shirt, then press in place following manufacturer's directions.

Joy® iron-on embroidered letters, letter sheets and numbers are available in a variety of colors, fonts and sizes at your local craft stores.

This rustic pallet pumpkin was just calling out to me from the Target dollar spot and with the addition of some Joy® iron-on embroidered letters, it quickly becomes a custom keepsake. Create a "Back to School" welcome banner for your favorite teacher's classroom!
