Show off your happy every day with this cute banner....
You will need:
Instructions: 1. Trace the pattern onto felt then cut out. Cut the first layer with straight line scissors and the second layer with pinking shears.
2. Adhere the two layers together using a high tack glue. Set aside to dry thoroughly. I am so happy with how the layers look using the pinking shears on the top layer.
3. Paint the embroidered letters with fabric paint. Using a soft brush work the paint into the threads to make sure that everything is covered and no white spots remain. Thin the paint with a little water if necessary. After the first coat is dry, add a thin layer of glitter paint.
4. Did you know that the letters have a self adhesive back?!!? This makes it so much easier to place your letters on your project before ironing. This is the handiest thing ever! Just peel the backing from each letter then simply press in place.
5. Using a lo-temp glue gun add some fun pom pom trim along the bottom of each banner. After all the banners are finished glue them to a piece of ribbon using the glue gun.
You can find Joy® embroidered, iron-on letters, letter sheets and appliqués at your local craft stores.
