Welcome your guests in style with this beautiful alternative to a traditional wreath!
Autumn is the most gorgeous time of the year. The lovely, rich colors, the beautiful fall flowers and changing leaves -- it's a decorator's dream! I wanted to bring those elements to my front door, so I made this monogrammed door hanging using featuring fall colors and a large Joy® Embroidered iron-on monogram.
You need:
Instructions: 1. Iron the embroidered letter onto felt leaf. I used the initial of my last name.
2. Cut the floral stem apart using wire cutters. I only used one large mum and 2 leaf clusters, but you can use as many flowers as you like.
3. Make a bow with burlap ribbon then attach the flowers and leaves to the middle of the bow using hot glue.
4. Attach bow to the bottom of the felt leaf.
5. Run a small length of ribbon through the hole in the top of the leaf and tie in a knot (for hanging). Hang on your front door and enjoy the compliments!
Joy® iron-on embroidered letters and numbers are available in a variety of sizes, colors, and fonts at your local craft stores.
