Photo cube ornament

A handmade photo cube ornament makes a great gift for anyone on your list. This project is super quick and easy to create with your favorite scrapbook papers, craft glue and paper punches. I like to use smooth foam cubes (rather than wood or paper maché) because they're lightweight and easy to embellish by pressing in straight pins and decorative brads. Adhere a square of paper to each side, then glue Joy letters on one side for a holiday message or your recipient's name. Punch a small frame out of cardstock and glue just three sides down so they can easily slide in a small photo at the top. Use a skewer to poke a small hole through the top of the cube and press a knotted loop of ribbon or rickrack inside (secure with pins or glue).
